Team Garneau-Quebecor has received its UCI Continental license for a second consecutive year.
2013 was a pivotal year for Garneau-Quebecor. The team attained an important milestone in its growth and has proved itself in a circuit where the competition level is considerably higher than what it had faced in the past. During the season, the team accumulated a total of 29 victories, in addition to receiving the award for 2013 High Performance Road and Track Team of the Year by the Fédération Québécoise des Sports Cyclistes (Québec Cycling Sports Federation). All this thanks to, among others, great performances by Remi Pelletier-Roy, who will take on the role of Team Captain for the 2014 season. Old and new riders, of including an American and two Australians, will complete the 2014 Garneau-Quebecor lineup.
The official presentation of the team will take place March 27th. Until then, the team is planning a training camp in North Carolina and another in Florida.
