On Sunday, September 7th, join cyclists from across Ontario at the Ride for Karen, an annual fundraising ride to send children with cancer to camp. The fully-supported, premiere cycling event features a century ride (160km) that starts from the Markham Fairgrounds and rolls through the countryside north of Toronto. There are also 100km and 25km distances plus a Kids Fun Ride. Started in 2002 as a tribute to Karen Tobias who passed away from breast cancer, the event has raised more than $2 million with 100% of proceeds donated to charity. For more information, to donate or to register to ride, please visit www.rideforkaren.com.
