Matt Macduff is no ordinary professional freestyle mountain biker. He's quirky, creative, a little crazy and he's got a cause.
Matt Macduff has seen first-hand the devastating effects of Cystic Fibrosis. Just like 1 in every 3600 children born in Canada, his little sister, Cailtin, suffers from the disease.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. There is no cure. But that doesn't mean there is no hope. Macduff is doing what he does best - riding his bike - in hopes of raising awareness and funding for Cystic Fibrosis research.
In recognition of International Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month, Matt is releasing an extreme freestyle mountain bike movie with all proceeds going to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
The movie features some of the best freestyle riders from around the world including Sam Reynolds, Aaron Chase, Anthony Messere and Logan Peat - all volunteering their time, energy and mad skills to this great cause.
They invite the public to help too - by watching. "Project Breathe Easy" is available online, May 9th, on Vimeo On-Demand and all proceeds go to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
