A comprehensive makeover of bicycle distributor Outdoor Gear Canada's (OGC) digital presence and a new Facebook page will enable dealers to interact with the company's website faster and more efficiently than ever before.
The makeover includes a more compelling and simpler to navigate architecture, and a powerful dealer locator where consumers can quickly find the nearest retailer of their favourite brands. Just as important, the new OGC site is based on responsive web design, which conforms to how people now surf the web. The site is optimized so it performs as well on smart phones and tablets as it does on PCs.
"We're very pleased with our new digital presence," said Sylvain Bossé, OGC's marketing director. "The new OGC site is optimized so it looks and feels great. The site architecture is logical, the look is attractive, and the functionality is powerful."
As part of its digital makeover, OGC is also launching a new Facebook page that will keep dealers informed with breaking news on products, brands and activations.
The redesign, programming and architecture are by Montreal-based Vortex Solution, and the new OGC website will be hosted on AAA servers located in Canada, to ensure faster page loading and a better user experience.
