The Toronto Centre for Active Transportation (TCAT) is excited to announce that the 7th annual Complete Streets Forum, to be held on October 6th, will be held at Daniels Spectrum in downtown Toronto. We look forward to welcoming our delegates to this beautiful cultural and community venue embedded in a walkable, bikeable, and vibrant neighbourhood.
Daniels Spectrum (located at 585 Dundas Street East) is a multi-faceted facility that includes performance, event and exhibition space, and is home to several of the community's cultural organizations. All keynote speeches, breakout sessions, and the evening reception will take place within the facility, while mobile workshops and tours will occur in nearby communities that showcase innovative active transportation projects.
Join us as we engage planners, public transportation and health professionals, engineers, urban designers, decision-makers and community leaders in a series of discussions and workshops that explore best practices and creative solutions for implementing Complete Streets - streets that are safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone!
If you have insight or expertise to share that fits into one of our four conference themes, you have one day remaining to submit a proposal! We look forward to hearing from you.
