October 2/14 13:33 pm - Cycling Canada Survey for Events of the Year

Cycling Canada is holding a survey to determine the National Event of the Year in Road, Mountain Bike, Track, BMX, Paracycling and Cyclocross during the period of October 1st, 2013, to October 5th, 2014. To be awarded event of the year, the organization of the race must be in good financial standing with the cycling associations involved with the race.

Please consider the following in your decision process:

• Quality of organization (registration, timing, award ceremony, results, etc)
• Quality of course / track
• Visibility through media

The survey will be live until Sunday October 12th. Category winners will be announced at the 2014 Cycling Canada AGM October 25-26 in Milton.

*As the Canadian BMX Championships will be held this weekend, votes for the BMX event of the year will be counted starting Monday October 6th
