Canada will take a team of ten riders to the Track World Championships next week in Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines, France, southwest of Paris.
The team will consist of sprint riders for both men and women, but only women on the endurance side, since the men's endurance squad did not qualify.
Canada's strongest medal hope is the women's Team Pursuit, which took the silver medal last year. In the Keirin, both Monique Sullivan and Hugo Barrette have a good possibility of the making the medal final. Jasmin Glaesser, who has good extremely good form at Milton, could also make the medal round in the Individual Pursuit.
