We are into the second lap of the women's race and Chrissy Redden has a 3 minute lead on Amber Chorney, Marie-Helene Premont and Trish Sinclair. Lesley Tomlinson has dropped out - no word on why. The conditions at the top of the course are terrible, according to Mike Badyk, with most riders walking.
