Heath Cockburn, former racer and member of the Toronto-area bicycle retail industry for many years, has opened his own bike shop - The Eleven (or the 11). Situated in The Shops at Don Mills retail district near Lawrence Avenue and the Don Valley Parkway, The 11 is an impressive looking place, at 6000 square feet.

While the 'soft' opening took place a month ago, last night was the official opening, and over 100 members of the local cycling community came out to congratulate Heath on his new baby.
While the primary focus is road, anchored by the Bianchi and Pinarello brands for bikes, and Poc and Assos for soft goods, Heath will have some mountain bikes, with Scott on display.
Good luck Heath!
