Posted by Editoress on 05/8/15

After taking a year off in 2014, the Hayman Classic is back, bigger, and better than ever, on May 23-24. This year the event is honoured to stand as the 2015 Provincial Youth Road Championships.

Join Canadian Cycling legend Ron Hayman for two days of action packed racing on jaw dropping courses in the beautiful South Okanagan.

The Time Trial, Criterium and Road Race are Provincial Chamionship events. The top three riders in each category will be awarded BC Championship medals.

Novice categories are not eligible for BC Championship medals.

There is also a general classification (GC) competion for each category. The winner of the GC is the rider with the lowest cumulative time from the trhee events. Riders must complete all three stages to be eligible for the GC. This competition is not a BC Championship category. The winners will be awarded a custom jersey.

The BC Youth Championships Banquet will take place on Saturday, May 23rd, at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. Starting at 6:30 PM, the evening will feature a three course meal, keynote presentation and fabulous prize draws.

The first 100 riders to register will be able to purchase banquest tickets for just $10. Non-riders and late registrants can purchase tickets for $25. Please visit the Event Website to register.
