Manufacturing Machine Operator
High-end bicycle component manufacturer, 9point8.ca, is seeking candidates to join our staff. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about a career in the bicycle parts industry.

9point8 designs and manufactures high-end bicycle components in our factory in Ancaster Ontario, just outside Hamilton.

This position reports to our manufacturing supervisor, and includes various responsibilities like:

• Preparing raw material for CNC machining
• Loading and unloading CNC machining centres
• Component inspection and de-burr

The ideal candidate will be a high school or college graduate, with some mechanical aptitude. Experience with machining and inspection are an asset, but not a requirement. Most importantly, the successful candidate will have the right attitude and work ethic.

• Shipping and receiving
• Some final assembly duties
• Record keeping

The ideal candidate will be a high school or college graduate with an interest in the bicycle industry. Good computer skills is a requirement since many of our systems are paperless. Most importantly, the successful candidate will have the right attitude and work ethic. Attention to detail and adherence to strict quality standards is necessary.
