Emily Batty took cycling's second cycling gold medal of the 2015 Pam Am games, winning the women's XC mountain bike race ahead of fellow Canadian Catharine Pendrel. The two rode together for the entire 5 laps race, wiith Batty outkicking Pendrel in the final metres to take the win.
