We are back! Somewhere further up the pipeline to the Internet there was a hiccup, and we lost our connection earlier this afternoon. However, everything is back online now, so we are back in business.   Dunhill Alleycat Scramble, Vancouver  The where and when is Nootka Studios, 1170 William St. (near Vernon and Venables), Vancouver B.C. "Hell'oween‰ Friday, Oct 31 is head to head qualifying on the "Human-Powered Rollercoaster". Finals to be held on Saturday, Nov 1. Race Hotline (604)879-9732. Cash prizes of $1500, split between male and female winners, plus a full custom bike for first and second place men and women, plus a plane ticket to the next Alley Cat Scramble. (We will have a report for those of you who can‚t make it...).   Ontario Commissaire Course  There will be a Road and Track Commissaire C / TA course held on Sunday 25th January and 1st February at the Ontario Sports Centre from 9 - 4p.m.   Candidates for Commissaire C and prospective Managers must take the full two day course (both Sundays). Cost will be $30 including handouts.  Those wishing to do the T/A course will attend the 25th January date only. (There is no T/A component in the 1st Feb. date). Cost will be $20 including handouts.  Course instructor will be Valerie Davidge.  If several people from one club or group register together, there will be a discount of $15 per person provided they are prepared to accept one copy of the handouts and then reproduce sufficient copies for the remainder of the group themselves.
