September 19/15 14:11 pm - Optum Women TTT Squad Crashes During Worlds Training

The Optum women's team start tomorrow for the Team Time trial is in question after a bad crash during today's training session that took down the entire team.  Annie Ewart was sent to the hospital with a possible shoulder injury, Maura Kinsella has a confirmed concussion so cannot start, and Amy Charity is being checked for a possible concussion.  With Kinsella out the backup rider is Alison Tetrick, but if another rider cannot start then Optum will not be able to field the minimum five finishers.  A terrible blow for the squad that finish fourth last year and has been training to make the podium this year.
