Pacific Cycling Centre will host its first 2015-2016 off-season winter training camp on November 26-29 in Victoria, BC. The camp will focus on endurance, strength, core stability, flexibility and balance. The group rides aim to develop and improve endurance and boost aerobic capacity for both road race and short distance track cyclists.
The camp is open to all levels and will assist in training and preparation for the season ahead. The camp will work and improve aerobic power, ITT, and climbing technique. Under the supervision of the PCC coaches, athletes will improve their fitness levels and receive feedback on training as they build a foundation for the season.
The four-day camp will include four rides and will feature tips on pedaling efficiency and learning how to develop a correct technique; recovery based training - learning how to manage your fatigue and recovery from training and competition, and strength evaluations and observation during the dynamic strength sessions. Cyclists will be observed by the coaching staff, who will give feedback and assist with their 2016 training plans.
To accompany the camp, PCC is offering services such as Power Meter analysis, dynamic bike positioning, MAP and lactate profiling for an additional fee.
Deadline to apply is November 15th. For more information go Here.
