Cowichan Cycles is a community minded mountain bike store, located in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. We are actively seeking an experienced, customer-focused mechanic to join our team. We are looking for a mechanic with previous shop experience who is customer-oriented, comfortable talking about cycling, and who considers cycling their lifestyle. Individuals who are familiar with servicing suspension, wheel building and have an intimate knowledge of Stars Wars are preferred as candidates, but we hire based on attitude as much as our hires are based on knowledge.

In our shop, mechanics are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop, including customer service, shop sales and profitability, repairs and bike builds. As a Cowichan Cycles mechanic, you will also represent us in the local cycling community by participating in local events, leading in-store clinics and other duties as needed.
