November 2/15 17:41 pm - Ottawa Bicycle Club Needs Event Coordinator for - Rideau Lake Cycle Tour

The Ottawa Bicycle Club is looking for a contract event coordinator to help us run our largest event - the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour.

We've seen incredible growth in the Tour over the past decades (44 editions of the Tour); the tour has consistently sold out for the past number of years. However, as riders of the tour, we don't get to see is the "behind the scenes" complexity of this event, and the planning required. To keep producing a quality tour, the Board of Directors has decided that it is time to try a contract approach for the coordinator's position for the 2016 tour.

The RFP Document contains the outline of the Coordinator's position, and the process details for responding. Responses will be accepted until November 9th, 2015.
