The Forest City Velodrome is proud to bring Saturday Night racing to the small track in London, Ontario, for the 10th year in a row. Racing will be available for racers of all abilities to race in A, B, C, and Youth categories. As in the past, race organizers expect racers to come to London from all over the province and Northern United States to take to the boards.
The race schedule starts in 2015 on Saturday, November 21st, with the Aylmer Express Special, continues in December on Saturday, December 12th, with the 19k Challenge p/b Sportszone Photography and is followed up on Saturday, December 19th, with the Speedpro Grandprix. The full schedule of racing is available online on the Forest City Velodrome website.
Mark Buckaway, Race Director said, "Racing this year is fully OCA sanctioned. We welcome all racers with an OCA citizen's permit or UCI license, and our friends from the US and abroad with a UCI license. New this year is online race registration. Racers will take to the boards for Scratch, Points, and Elimination races amongst others, and each night will finish off with a Madison. Pre-registration for racing is highly recommended."
Rob Good, founder of the Forest City Velodrome said, "Using Six Day style racing, like the recent Six Day Race in London, UK, we keep racing fun. It is about the show. Racers and audience members alike will have a blast."
Race registration online is $30 in advance and $40 day of. Tickets for the audience are available at the door for $10 for adults, $5 for youth and seniors, and kids are always free.
