The UCI has announced the schedule and hosts for next season's Cyclo-cross World Cup. Canada, which had to cancel a planned World Cup event in this past season, will not have a place on the schedule for next season, however, the U.S. will have two - Las Vegas and Iowa. After Montreal was cancelled, a number of Canadian venues were considered, including Calgary and Winnipeg, but none made the selection.
The World Cup season will open at 'Cross Vegas on September 21st, followed three days later by Iowa, host of the Jingle 'Cross for many years. The World Cup season concludes in Hoogerheide (Netherlands) on January 22, 2017, followed by the world championships in Luxembourg.
The UCI also announced that the 2018 world championships will take place in Valkenburg (Netherlands).
