Just like kids, IMBA Canada's Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day (#TAKMBD) program is growing in 2016!

After the success of previous TAKMBD events, IMBA Canada is excited to announce that we will be joining other IMBA organizations around the world in launching our first annual spring edition of TAKMBD. The new official spring date is June 11, 2016, and the official fall date will continue to be the first Saturday in October (October 1, 2016). As always any day can be #TAKMBD and we invite clubs and groups to register their event at any time!

Made possible through the generous support of presenting partner MEC, IMBA Canada is also proud to announce a new partnership with Clif Bar for the 2016 editions of Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day. For the first time in Canada Clif Kid Zbars will be included in host packages, along with prizing from MEC and IMBA Canada. Clif Bar is dedicated to getting kids back outside to play (#outtoplay), and aligning with IMBA Canada’s #TAKMBD is right in line with their mission.

Today’s young mountain bikers are tomorrow’s land managers, community leaders, trail builders and trail advocates - Join us in getting more kids on bikes in 2016!
