April 11/16 15:47 pm - Viviani Hit by Motorcycle at Paris-Roubaix - Video

At Paris-Roubaix on Sunday, the latest bicycle-motorcycle collision took place between Team Sky's Elia Viviani and a TV moto. Viviani had stopped for a crash that had clogged the road going through the Arenberg Forest. The next thing that happens is that a TV moto comes up behind him and knocks him down. Luckily, the moto was moving slowly at that point, hit the barriers and went down as it slid into Viviani from behind. Team Sky has since reported that he is okay, with contusions on his hip and chest.

Cycling enthusiast Guy Wolstencroft [@r8uge] filmed the entire sequence with his phone, and has given us permission to play the entire 8:37 video, which shows the bike crash, Viviani stopping, the moto sliding into him and the aftermath.
