Fly Gurlz Goes National
The Fly Gurlz Mountain Bike Team is proud to announce that after three years of operation will be a CCA National Trade Team for the 2001 season. Riders will be racing out of British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario. It is the first time an all-female mountain bike team has registered Nationally and we are thrilled to moving forward in this capacity. Look for Sigrid Hynscht's famous "Learn to Mountain Bike Clinics" that will be held in London and Collingwood next year. We would like to thank our sponsors for a wonderful season this year and we look forward to another great season of racing in 2001!
Tomlinson a Homemaker
Our Editoress was standing in line at the grocery checkout, and who should she see staring back at her from the cover of Homemaker magazine but two-time Olympian Lesley Tomlinson and her mom. The title of the article? Being an Olympian at 40.
