Women's Road Race - end of lap 6

A number of 'big guns' are out - Lithuanians Jolanta and Rasa Polikeviciute and USA's ITT world champ Mari Holden among them. Partly it is crashes, and partly it is the weather - cold and rainy.

At the front we have one rider off with a big gap - Zinaida Stahurskaia of Belarussia. She has 1:11 on a lone chaser - Elisabeth Chevanne of France - and 1:52 on the field. Diane Zilute (Ltu), Mirjam Melchers (Ned), Dede Demet-Barry (USA) and Tracey Gaudry (Aus) are at the front of the chase. We believe Lyne Bessette is still in there too.
