The H&R Block Pro Cycling Team is pleased to welcome Team Director, Maxime Martin, along with Team Mechanic, Kevin Duncan for the 2017 season.
Hailing from Saint Amand, France, Maxime is an experienced bike racer and director. Maxime started his racing career in France, where the climbing specialist earned himself a professional contract in Asia on OCBC Singapore. After retirement from the sport, Maxime transitioned his focus to the management side of the team, helping to manage French riders at they transitioned to the Japanese professional cycling team Nanshin Subaru Cycling Team.
"I am very excited to join the H&R Block Pro Cycling Team for the 2017 season. We have a talented young group of athletes which I look forward to leading this season, while also exploring North America for the first time," says Maxime.
Kevin is a seasoned mechanic of 8 years and the owner of Elite TechWorkX Neutral Race Support, where he has provided neutral race support at events throughout the Southeastern United States for the past 3 years. A seasoned biker racer himself, Kevin started at age 6 as a BMX racer before going on to race in mountain bike events at age 12.
"We are excited to be able to step up our support for the riders on the road this season. Having experienced and consistent staff throughout the season will help our riders develop and work closely as a team all season," explains Team Owner, Mark Ernsting.
The team just arrived in Fayetteville, Arkansas for the UCI Joe Martin Stage Race. Representing the team for the first race of the season are newcomers Alexis Cartier, Marc-Antoine Nadon, Conor O'Brien, Matt Staples and Quinton Diersa, along with returning team members Travis Samuel, Jure Rupnik and Peter Disera.
