NRG Enterprises from Nelson, BC, announces that it will be taking over the Canadian distribution of CushCore, Ravemen, Melon and Julbo, effective immediately. NRG's established network of experienced sales reps is ready to start selling these brands with Canadian price lists and booking programs.

In June 2017, Raymond Lanctôt Ltd. (Lanctôt) acquired NRG providing it with a solid foundation to grow its newly created Bike division.

CushCore
This new brand from Bend, Oregon, makes tire inserts to help tubeless tires absorb impacts, reduces vibration and stabilizes the sidewalls to prevent air from leaking out. It recently won the Vital MTB Tire Inserts Face-Off.

"CushCore is excited to be working exclusively with NRG for distribution in Canada.  Canada has become an important market for us, and we wanted to find representation by people who ride the gnarly terrain that has helped make us so popular in the region. NRG imports CushCore in bulk, so they can offer our products at lower cost and with a lot less hassle than buying from across the border." said Cush Core Ownder Adam Krefting.

"At NRG we carry brands and products we personally like to use. Cushcore is the perfect example. We sincerely think it offers the best solution for many users who thinks tubeless tires is the way to go." said NRG/Lanctôt Operations VP Jean Cloutier.

Ravemen
Until recently, the name Ravemen was unfamiliar to cyclists until one of their products; the PR1200 won MTBR.com Best Lights of 2016.  Ravemen makes front and rear lights ranging from 20 to 1,200 lumens and uses technology taken from the automotive industry. With a high beam to see further and an anti-glare low beam those lights can be used for commuting to mountain bike riding and everything in between.

"We're really excited to work with NRG/Lanctôt to provide Canadian bike riders the full line of Ravemen products, we're sure that NRG/Lanctôt will take good care of this market with a perfect team they have." said Ravemen Sales Manager Scott Zeng.

Melon
This Eurobike award winning brand offers stylish helmet at feather light weight. Their helmets have an in-mold construction, great ventilation and a magnetic buckle. With over 55 different colorways and a range from 44cm to 63cm, Melon clearly has something for everyone.

"Melon is all about fashion and protection for the entire family. High quality and fair pricing. This brand values what's most important to us: Making people happy! No Brain No Game - Enjoy the Moment!" said CEO and CO-Founder David Cervenka

Julbo
Julbo has been setting the standard for high-end eyewear for the past 130 years. Positioned in the French foothills, and inspired by their early experience in crafting eyewear for glacier explorers, Julbo has become the leader in sunglasses for the Great Outdoors. Expert in photochromic lenses for over 15 years, Julbo developed a specific range of lenses, adapting to all terrain and light conditions.

"Julbo has been distributed by Lanctôt for 8 years now. When we heard Julbo's focus was switching more and more towards the various cycling disciplines, it was a no-brainer to add a selected offering at NRG." said NRG/Lanctôt Operations VP Jean Cloutier.
