The Grand Prix Cycliste Gatineau is back for a ninth consecutive year, running from June 7th to 10th. The event will be highlighted, as usual, by the UCI sanctioned international women's Road Race and Chrono Gatineau time trial, which will take place on June 7th and 8th.
There will 14 teams competing in the 104.4 kilometre closed circuit, mass start road race including, for the first time, Rally Cycling. Other teams registered include TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank, UnitedHealthcare, Cyclery Racing, West of Quebec Wheelers and SMA Cycling. Local Gatineau rider and national team member Arianne Bonhomme will participate on The Cyclery Racing Team.

At the UCI Chrono time trial, the competition will be fierce for American Lauren Stephens of TIBCO-Silicon Valley Bank, who will be trying to defend her title. Last year, she covered the 17.3 km technical circuit in 30:20.09, nearly four seconds ahead of second place finisher Karol-Ann Canuel. This year, Twenty20's Chloe Dygert, holder of the world record for the 3000m Pursuit, will be one of Laurens' challengers.
Also taking place during the weekend are the Coupe Québec Cuisses Or de l'Outaouais, reserved for cyclists aged 5 to 16, and the Navy bike ride, a family circuit on the Gatineau and Ottawa roads. These events will take place on June 9th and 10th. The Medio Fondo (69 km) and Gran Fondo (111.8 km) are also back on Sunday, June 10th. Entries are still open.
