Nominations for the Coaching Association of Canada's (CAC) 2018 Geoff Gowan and Investors Group NCCP Coach Developer Awards are now being accepted until June 15th. The recipients will be recognized before their peers at the 2018 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif conference, in Ottawa (November 8-10).

Geoff Gowan Award
The Geoff Gowan "Lifetime Achievement" Award recognizes a lifetime commitment to coaching and coaching development and is presented to an individual who has fostered a positive public image of coaching, enhanced the role of the coach within the Canadian public, and who is a role model for future generations of coaches.

Investors Group NCCP Coach Developer Awards
Launched in 2012, the Investors Group NCCP Coach Developer Awards recognize outstanding individuals who have gone above and beyond to develop certified and trained NCCP coaches in their communities. The winners of this award embody the spirit and characteristics of the “best of the best” Learning Facilitators and Evaluators throughout Canada.

There are two types of awards available:

• National NCCP Coach Developer Award

• Community NCCP Coach Developer Awards
