We just had a brief chat with Alison Sydor, from Victoria, B.C., where she is currently training. We asked her for her feelings about the Paola Pezzo positive drug result.  CC: It looks like you are now the World Cup champion. How does it feel?  AS: When we were out riding today, somebody said that it was sort of like winning by default, and that‚s how it feels. I guess that it is good that (the positive) was discovered, but this certainly isn‚t the way that I would want to win.  Alison answered a number of other questions concerning doping, testing and how she feels this result will affect the sport. We will have a complete transcript up within the next day or so.
