The Eastern Canada Gravel Cup Series p/b euro-sports launches this spring with five events. The Gravel Cup is open to both recreational and competitive cyclists. The participants will accumulate points for every long course event completed. Female and male riders accumulating the most points at the end of the series will be crowned the Eastern Canada Gravel Cup Champion, and take home the coveted Gravel Cup, the final Series leader's jersey.

The series consists of five different courses ranging from 80-90km in distance, taking place on primarily gravel and unmaintained roads of West Carleton, Lanark and Renfrew counties, situated approximately 30 minutes west of Ottawa. All events are self-supported and open to both OCA licensed and un-licensed riders of all experience levels.

The Eastern Canada Gravel Cup was created to expose more people to the gravel roads of Lanark and Renfrew Counties. The result is the Eastern Canada Gravel Cup Series; events designed around safety and enjoyment that welcome racers and riders equally.

When you see the abundance of peaceful scenic treed undulating roads, I hope you'll be as astounded as I was to discover the amazing gravel of Lanark and Renfrew Counties. Riding has never been the same for me and it's my hope that all participants will go through the same rabbit hole I did. Take the "red pill", stay in Wonderland and never look back.
