Cycle Toronto, the advocacy group, is looking for both Bikewatch volunteers and Outreach Coordinators for the coming season.
Volunteer
Do you want to make a difference to Toronto's cycling culture and spend your summer with like-minded folks championing life on two wheels?
Cycle Toronto invites you to join their team of Bikewatch volunteers. Opportunities include supporting outreach during Bike Month and Get Lit! campaigns, supporting our signature Bike Valet service, and member recognition. We'll make sure you get the most out of the experience with dedicated training, regular social events, a Bikewatch T-shirt, and more. And if you've volunteered with us before but would like a refresh on what's coming up, this session is for you.
Sign up now for our first orientation session of the season on Wednesday, April 10th, at CSI Spadina (192 Spadina Ave.). There will be a social to follow the meet-and-greet and orientation session.
Job Alert
Cycle Toronto is hiring Outreach Coordinators for the upcoming season, which typically runs from May until the end of October. We'll host on-street outreach stations in June for Bike Month and in October for Get Lit!, run Bike Valet, member outreach, member calls and more. We're looking for energetic, detail-oriented people with a passion for cycling. We carry our tent and supplies with our trusty cargo bike and bike trailers, so a bike in good working order and an enthusiasm for moving things by bike is a must. Outreach coordination requires multi-tasking, organization, and leadership. Our ideal candidates are also professional, collaborative, and comfortable engaging with the public and working with our dedicated volunteers.
Read the description and Apply by Monday April 1st.
