Louis Garneau Sports is excited to announce the official opening of its new store in Vancouver, the first on the West Coast. Centrally located just west of Main Street in the busy Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, the combined retail space and service shop is now open seven days a week.

Vancouver cyclists can expect to see a wide selection of Garneau bikes and accessories for road riding, urban cycling, off-road biking, and triathlon, including options for kids, and a full range of men's, women's, and kids' cycling apparel from Garneau, Sugoi, and Sombrio. The newly renovated store includes a coffee bar and will host regular group rides and in-store events to bring people together and encourage all types of cycling. An open-concept Bike Doctor Service Shop staffed with experienced mechanics provides full-service maintenance and repairs for all brands of bikes.
"We want this new, modern store to be our point of contact with cyclists, a hub for the local cycling community," says Louis Garneau, President of the Garneau Group and founder of Louis Garneau Sports. "We feature high-quality, Canadian-designed Garneau, Sugoi, and Sombrio products, staff who know and ride bikes, and a great café corner. We want to get to know you!"

To celebrate the official opening of the new store, Garneau invites the community to drop by between Thursday, May 9th and Sunday, May 12th for retail discounts and product giveaways throughout the weekend. The customers will also have a chance to win a $500 bike!

The Vancouver store is Garneau's fifth, and its first outside of Quebec. After acquiring the highly respected Vancouver-based apparel companies Sugoi and Sombrio in June 2018, Garneau took over the retail space formerly occupied by the Bike Doctor, one of the longest-running bike shops in Vancouver. Garneau has retained the Bike Doctor's sales team and mechanics and now offers Garneau-brand products alongside top-notch Sugoi and Sombrio clothing, and quality parts and service.
