This weekend is the first race of the NCIM Youth Race series at the Mattamy National Velodrome. Racing will take place from 7 pm to 10 pm on Saturday, October 26th.
With the Ontario Team try-outs in the morning and Cycling Canada running a national level Youth Advancement Camp at the same time, the race is sure to include some of the Province and Canada's top young riders.
The evening's racing will include a mixture of bunch races with a scratch race, elimination and tempo as well as a nod to the aspiring sprinters with a chariot race.
The race is open to any youth rider with an Ontario Cycling licence or citizen permit that is track certified.
While the racing is aimed at fun and skill development there will be a number of prizes and primes on offer over the course of the evening to help keep the racing spicy.
Registration is available Here.
