March 18/20 16:20 pm - UCI Looks to Rearranging Road Calendar

The UCI has begun to look at what form a revised international road calendar might take once the COVID-19 pandemic has passed. After meeting with organizations representing Organizers (AIOCC), Teams (AIGCP) and Riders (CPA), a number of proposals are under consideration, including:

• no events until at least the end of April
• potential overlaps between Grand Tours and/or Monuments
• extending the season (women and men) until November 1, 2020
• flexibility on team sizes in certain events
