Vallnord, Andorra, what was supposed to be the final Mountain Bike World Cup before the Olympics on June 19-21, has been cancelled. Vallnord was to the be sixth round and featured both XCO and DH. This means that the next round still scheduled is Lenzerheide, Switzerland (August 14-16), followed by Mont-Ste-Anne, Quebec (August 21-23). Note- subsequently we were made aware that MSA may too be in doubt. Val di Sole, Italy (September 11-3) and Les Gets, France (September 18-20) are also still on the schedule. Lousa (Portugal), Maribor (Slovenia) and Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) have also said they want to reschedule, while other rounds cancelled.
