The decision of the Quebec government to shutdown cultural and sporting events until August 31st [see MSA World Cup Might be Hit with Quebec Event Restriction] will impact more than the Mont-Ste-Anne World Cup and Road nationals, since Quebec plays an oversized role in the national calendar.
In addition to basically wiping out most of the provincial calendar for the season, it will also affect the following national level events:
Haut-Richelieu BMX Canada Cups #1 and # 2 - June 20-21
Drummondville BMX Canada Cup #3 and #4 - June 27-28
Masters Road Nationals - July 2-5
Sherbrooke Canada Cup XCO - July 4-5
Tour de l'Abitibi/Challenge Sprint - July 13-19
UCI Para Road World Cup - August 6-7
GP Cycliste de la Matapédia - August 12-16
Tour de l'Avenir Makadence - August 13-16
At this point, the Quebec and Montreal Road WorldTour events are still 'safe' in September, as is the XCM (Marathon) Nationals.
