Women in Cycling

We have been asked to take part in a symposium on Women in Cycling this weekend - specifically: how to reverse the disturbing drop in the number of women taking out racing licences. While we have our own thoughts on the topic, we thought it would be an excellent idea if we could present the thoughts of you, the members of the cycling community, to this taskforce.

So, what do you think: why are less women become involved in competitive cycling? If Canada wants to continue to produce the world-class calibre of female cyclists that it has up until now, the first step is to get women into the racing community. What do you think?
