This week, Canadian cycling legend Alison Sydor was added to The Canadian Encyclopedia. The Canadian Encyclopedia was first published in 1985, and an interactive version was added in 2013 [find out more about the project Here.

The article on Alison Sydor is one of many [search 'cyclist' to see others], including Steve Bauer, Torchy Peden, Kelly Ann Way and more. The more important question is why did it take so long to add her? All the others went in at least three years ago.
None-the-less, it is a very complete listing of her accomplishments and biographical details.
