One of our readers has sent us a request for help identifying an old medal:

I have a medallion, given to me by my Italian grandmother. On one side is engraved a faerie on a bicycle wheel. Above her, on the left side is a cyclist. On the other side of the medallion, it looks as if part of the engraving was scraped off, or more metal put on top.

I have always wondered if it represents a race in Europe, and was hoping that if you could show it in your magazine, that someone might recognize the significance of the drawing.
