The first multi-discipline cycling world championships concluded on Sunday, with Sarah van Dam the top individual Canadian finisher for the day, in ninth place for the Under-23 Women's Road Race. Earlier in the day, the Para road team of Alexander Hyndman (H3), Joey Desjardins (H3) and Matthew Kinnie (H2) finished seventh in the Handcycle Team Relay. In BMX Racing, Molly Simpson (Elite Women) and Keira Murphy (Junior Women) each made it to the semifinals, while Curtis Krey (U23 Men) was knocked out in the quarterfinals.

The Elite women's road race (held concurrently with the Under-23 women) was the final event of the Championships. Lotte Kopecky of Belgium took the title in a race of attrition, with a last lap attack that her rivals could not respond to. Demi Vollering (Netherlands) beat Cecilie Reusser (Denmark) in a sprint for silver. Canada had three riders in the lead group until three laps to go, when a crash knocked all three out of contention. The trio continued to race, with Simone Boilard finishing 32nd, followed by Alison Jackson in 33rd and Olivia Baril in 34th. In addition to being ninth in Under-23 women, van Dam was 46th overall, followed by Maggie Coles-Lyster in 63rd and Sara Poidevin in 83rd.In the final medal count, for able-body, Canada finished 18th by gold medals and 14th by total medals, with 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze. For Para, Canada was 12th by gold medals and tenth by total medals, with 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 6 Bronze. Great Britain dominated both categories.
