The calendar has been released for the 2023 Mountain Bike World Cup, in all disciplines except Marathon. Once again, Mont-Ste-Anne, Canada, is on the schedule as the final event for Downhill (DHI), Short Track (XCC) and Cross-country (XCO), and will take place on the first weekend of October. The U.S. stop one week earlier will be Lake Placid, replacing Snowshoe.
Next year, events will take place in 10 countries across Europe, North America and South America - and includes six brand new venues. The full calendar for the UCI World Cups in cross-country Olympic (XCO), short track (XCC), downhill (DHI) and enduro (EDR) - including E-enduro (E-EDR) - will cover 15 weekends of racing, with all formats enjoying both standalone and combined events.
The season opens with back-to-back weekends of XCO/XCC racing in Brazil, in April. The Downhill series begins in early May at the classic Fort William, Scotland, venue. There are a total of 8 XCC/XCO events, 7 DHI and 6 EDR.
