Canada's Jayden McMullen rode a consistent race in the Junior men on Sunday at the Cyclo-cross World Championships in Tabor, Czechia, to finish 23rd.

The race at the front was a battle between Stefano Viezzi of Italy and Aubin Sparfel of France, until Sparfel flatted with less than a lap to go and had to run to the pits, eventually finishing fourth. Viezzi added the world title to his World Cup title, while Keije Solen (Ned) overtook local Czech favourite Krystof Bazant for the silver.
McMullen rode the entire race in the top-30, moving up in the second half to top-25 and then moving into 23rd for the last lap. Felix Antoine Auclair was 47th, Tristan Taillefer 51st, Alix Brunelle 67th and Lucas Goertz 68th.
