The 2024 U17/Junior/Para Track National Championships opened on Friday in Bromont, Quebec, with 12 national titles awarded in three different events - the Individual Pursuit, Keirin and Scratch Race.

Alexandra Fangeat (Liftow p/b KW Cycling Academy) took the first national title of the weekend, setting a new Canadian record in the U17 women's Pursuit. Her teammate Jake McLean took the U17 men's title, with fellow Ontario Nora Linton (Attack Racing) defending her Junior women's title. The only Pursuit title to not go to Ontario was won in Junior men by Jonathan Hinse (Equipe de Quebec).
Ontario and Quebec riders continued to dominate in the Keirin, with Lili Salonen-Berschet (Milton Revolution) winning U17 women, Jake Mclean taking his second title in U17 men, and Quebec riders Jade Parent Lafreniere and Fergus Spitzley winning the Junior women's and men's titles, respectively.
In the Scratch Races, Fangeat took her second title, while Jake MclLean completed a clean sweep of the U17 men's titles for the day. Nora Linton won her second title in Junior women after lapping the field, while Jonathan Hinse won his second title in a sprint finish.
