It is going to be an important night of racing tonight for Team Canada's Olympic qualifications in the team events. The criteria are quite complicated (an understatement), but this is how it looks:
Women's Team Pursuit - Looks pretty solid for an Olympic spot; this is the only one that is pretty much assured a spot.
Men's Team Pursuit - Did not make it through the first round to the medal round, which was a bit of a blow, but with a top-8 finish overall, they should be fine.
Women's Team Sprint - Need to beat France (ie, finish ahead of them) in the first round, at a minimum. Beat them by about three-quarters of a second in Qualifying.
Men's Team Sprint - This one is the tightest - need to beat both Czechia and Poland in the first round. They beat both of them in Qualifying.
