June 9/24 20:27 pm - Gee Finishes Dauphine #rd Overall

Posted by Editoress on 06/9/24

Primoz Roglic (BORA-hansgrohe) won his second Criterium du Dauphiné on Sunday, barely holding onto the lead after a final stage attack by Matteo Jorgenson (Visma | Lease a bike) dropped his overall lead to eight seconds with the American finishing second on the final stage. Carlos Rodriguez (Ineos Grenadiers) won the stage.

Canada’s Derek Gee (Israel Premier Tech) continued his incredible ride, with a third place in the last stage that garnered him third overall - the first Canadian to make the overall final podium. Gee finished fourth overall in the Points standings and sixth in the KoM results. Gee also won a stage and wore the leader’s jersey for a stage.
