The 2025 Future Champions Camp is shaping up to be the best edition yet! And this after two very successful editions held at Shawnigan Lake, BC. Once again riders will gain essential knowledge in a positive learning environment. The 2025 Camp will be held on May 22-25, in Penticton, B.C.
Head Coach Richard Wooles' vast experience promises to create an engaging camp for all athletes. In addition to Richard, Nigel Ellsay will be on-site, providing his insights and perspectives to enhance the camp. Together, they will ensure that athletes receive a well-rounded and impactful experience.
The camp includes racing on the famous Area 27 race car circuit and tackling the gruelling 1200 metre Apex Mountain climb. In addition, riders will explore the scenic roads around Penticton and take part in numerous coaching sessions.
The camp is limited to 60 motivated riders* between the ages of 14 and 22. Riders will gain valuable knowledge as they prepare for Provincial Championships, National Championships and, in some cases, national team selection. Registration fee includes: accommodation, meals, jersey, coaching and transportation to Area 27. Airport pickup from Kelowna and Penticton is available. Ask for details before booking air travel.
Many riders, including Alison Jackson, Riley Pickerell and Maggie Coles-Lyster, plus coaches Nigel Ellsay and Gillian Ellsay, have used COG Events as a stepping stone to achieve their goals. Don't be left behind!
