Five athletes will represent Canada at the 2025 UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships, taking place in Ronse, Belgium from August 28th to August 31st.

Paralympian Alexandre Hayward brings world-class experience to this year's Canadian squad, anchoring a team of seasoned competitors. Hayward, along with Jessica Law, Kara Douville, and Maarten Duif, also represented Canada at the 2024 edition of the Para-Cycling Road World Championships and return to the international stage with renewed focus and determination. Michael Sametz, a two-time world champion and Rio 2016 bronze medalist, adds depth and talent to this year's team. Across multiple classifications, these athletes will compete in individual time trials and road races throughout the event, aiming to build on past performances and claim the podium in Ronse.

National Team Coach Sebastien Travers commented, "The para team is excited to race at the World Championships in Belgium once more. Racing in Ronse, home of the legendary Tour des Ardennes, will feel very special for our squad of five athletes. The athletes are ready and eager to show their talent, aiming for personal bests as well as continued progression in their results from previous years."
