Grouse Update
We have received word that Steve Peat and Fabien Barel are both injured. Peat hit a tree during practice and was taken out on a back board - the word is either collarbone or shoulder separation. He is pretty much definitely out for the weekend. Barel cut his leg during a training run and his racing status is unknown at this time. Both riders are GT, so the team can't be too happy at this point...
Weather is still gorgeous, and expected to stay in the low to mid 20s. In the morning there was lots of fog, which did not burn off until later in the day.
