Smooth Cycle Atlantic Championships - Charlottetown P.E.I. - Sept 21-23

The Smooth Cycle Atlantic Championship weekend will include 5 races:

Friday Sept 21
Sherwood Volkswagen "Dash for Cash" Prologue:

This event is only open to pre-registered riders. This one lap ITT will run immediately before the Night Crit on the same course.
This will be a single, open category event.
The top 3 fastest times win Start Time 7:00 pm

Dalvay by the Sea Night Criterium:

Course is 1.07 kms with 6 corners. Mostly flat with one slight uphill and one slight downhill to the flat finish.
Mens Open Category - 35 kms (33 laps)
Womens Open Category - 20 kms (19 laps)
Total Prize Money: $850
Downtown Charlottetown. Start Time 7:00pm

Saturday Sept 22
Individual Time Trial:

The event will start in Tea Hill Park at 9:00am. This is a flat and fast out and back TT course. 17 kms in length.
Total Prize Money: $250
Categories: same as road race
Tea Hill Park, Stratford

City of Charlottetown Team Time Trial:

The event will start at East Whiltshire school, just west of Charlottetown. It is a 38km course, consisting of 2, 19km
loops, one half of the course is hilly, one half flatter and faster.
Start Time: 2:00 pm
Team of 4 riders, the 3rd rider's time to cross the finish line counts
Open category. Mixed teams allowed.
If 3 women's teams enter, there will be an open cat and a women's cat.

Sunday Sept 23
Barry's Pub & Eatery Road Race:

This event will take place in the New Glasgow and Rustico areas. The course is a 16.3km loop. Start Time: 10 am
Under 17 Men and Junior Women- 65.2km
Sr Women - 81.5kms
Master 30+ and Senior 4 Men - 81.5kms
Junior Men - 81.5kms
Senior Men 114kms

Schurman Building Supplies King of the Mountains competition:

$100 prize money. During the race there will be 4 intermediate hill climb sprints. Points will be awarded for the first 4 riders (5,3,2,1) up the hill each odd lap.
Start Time 10:00am Total Prize Money: $750
Pre-Registration (until Thursday Sept. 20th) cost is $30. On race day, there is a late fee of $10

Registration entitles you to race in any or all of the 5 races.
