Track Worlds - Antwerp, Belgium
Svetlana Grankovskaia (Rus) has won the women's sprint title, with Canadian Lori-Ann Muenzer finishing third. American Tammy Thomas took the silver. Muenzer's result may appear to be a step back from last year, when she took silver, but it is actually more impressive since the depth of competition is much higher this year.
Leontien Zijlaard-Van Moorsel (Ned) won the women's pursuit title, ahead of Russia's Olga Slioussareva. Zijlaard-Van Moorsel's winning time was 3:34.505 .
