Hardwood Hills Raid- Oct. 21, 2001.
The excitement is building around the 2001 version of the Hardwood Hills MTB RAID. Entries have been pouring in all weekend, and the course is looking beautiful with a covering of leaves creating a carpet of fire!
MTB RAID Sponsors; Clif Bar, Smartwool, Maureens Marine and Garmin GPS have come on board to add support and prizes. A $200.00 GPS provided by Maureens Marine and Garmin will be available as a draw prize for any rider completing their course.
The Hardwood Hills MTB RAID is a 80 km. or 40 km. endurance challenge as a single long loop including gravel road, forest trails, single track trails and county forest.. See our website for full details www.hardwoodhills.ca/raid.htm

Hardwood Hills was the venue for the second race of the University Cup series. 10 universities were represented. The Ottawa women are coming on strong. UofT and Queen's are in a tight race for the overall team title.
